Amani Emtairah is a Palestinian-American artist, illustrator and pattern designer from Amman, Jordan. Her love of nature is a deep source of inspiration, often infusing botanical patterns and motifs throughout her work. Her work seeks to explore the different relationships between self and nature, focusing especially on sensations of joy, wonder and serenity. She works across multiple mediums focusing primarily on colored pencil, watercolor, mixed media and digital art. Her pattern designs are imbued with vibrant colors and textures, and she enjoys exploring unique color combinations that invite the viewer to imagine alternate realities.
