Samar Zureik is a type designer, and calligraphy enthusiast. She holds an MA from the Visual Communication Design program at Aalto University, Finland, and attended the Esad-Type postgraduate course at ésad-Amiens, France. She also trained under master calligrapher Riad Tabbal in Jordan. When not working on letters, she likes to eat liquorice.
