Jordanian

Abeer’s art is deeply connected to emotions that many people experience but don’t necessarily always express. Her work blends bright, vibrant colors and quirky illustrations with a reflective, sometimes even somber mood. This contrast, often also paired with her focus on Arabic typography, allows her art to carry profound meaning that resonates with others. Her graphic design styles draws from both contemporary and cultural influences, making it both modern and rooted in tradition.

Her inspiration comes from both her own feelings and the world around her. The people in her life, as well as everyday experiences—both joyful and sad—shape her art. While feelings are at the core of her work, her community and surroundings play a key role in guiding her creative process.

For Abeer, art is a form of freedom. In contrast to the constraints of daily life, allows her to break free and express herself without boundaries. She often finds inspiration in regional architecture, especially the symmetrical patterns found in Islamic art, and incorporates these elements into her work. Arabic typography frequently appears in her pieces, where even a single word can evoke emotions that many relate to.

Her advice to beginners is simple: always have fun, don’t overthink it, and just start creating.
