Her artistic roots trace back to childhood, where crayons and doodles were her first creative tools. What began as playful sketching soon evolved into more intentional, expressive work. Over time, Mary found herself drawn to bold compositions, exploring acrylic on canvas while refining her design sensibility through formal studies in interior design.
It was during this time that she discovered a unique passion for tiles. The shapes, colors, and symmetry of tile work echoed her love of geometry and spatial storytelling. She began to see tiles not just as materials, but as small canvases capable of carrying deep artistic meaning—especially when integrated into the built environment.
Amman, her home city, serves as a constant source of inspiration. Its layered textures, cultural motifs, and vibrant palette are reflected in her art, subtly woven into each piece she creates. For Mary, design is as much about emotion and memory as it is about form and function.
Creating, for her, is a shared experience. She believes every piece opens up a conversation—between the artist, the environment, and the audience. With this mindset, she encourages other creatives to express themselves boldly, celebrating the beauty of everyday materials and the power of storytelling through art.
"Whether you love your art or not, someone out there will. Share it—you never know who you’ll inspire."
